Frequently Asked Questions
Motion Medical provides orthopedic braces and supplies that were prescribed by your physician. You received this product either at your physician’s office, a hospital, or a surgery center. Motion Medical has filed a claim to your insurance carrier as a courtesy to you. The balance due is most likely the result of your deductible and/or co-insurance, which is your responsibility to pay.
This is the contractual obligation you have with your insurance company which designates a specific amount that you must pay before your insurance benefits will apply.
Once your insurance company has processed the claim for the product, the co-insurance represents the percentage that you are responsible for after reaching your deductible, and according to your insurance policy.
This is separate from the co-pay that you paid for your doctor’s visit or for your surgery.
