Motion Medical was started in a home basement in 1989 by John Dean and Russ Smith. They would sell orthopedic supplies by day and pack orders by night. Fast-forward to today where Motion Medical is one of the premier providers of quality orthopedic bracing and supply management programs throughout the state of Alabama.
Our vision is to make every customer, whether corporate or individual, successful through innovative programs and products. Motion Medical uses our expertise in product knowledge, insurance billing and logistics to serve as a business partner, not just another brace distributor.

Motion Medical’s DME Supply Management division places products in physician’s offices, clinics, as well as hospitals and surgery centers. As a courtesy to the patient, we then bill their insurance carrier.

Motion Medical has five sales representatives that are experienced in sales and customer care. Our staff includes two licensed Orthotic Fitters and two certified Athletic Trainers. Our staff has an overall average of 18 years of healthcare industry experience specializing in direct patient care in DME, bracing and orthotics.
